Sequoya knew her path involved hairstyling at a young age when she began braiding everyone’s hair in her family! Graduating from Jean Madeline in 2008, she apprenticed under a master stylist before getting behind the chair. Shortly after, she decided she wanted a change of pace, and was off to the Rocky Mountains. Here, she learned a great deal about natural beauty, and her desires transformed into creating natural, wearable hair. In early 2015 Sequoya joined the Architeqt team where her passion has developed not only with her love of doing color, but also with dry cutting, which has become a new element of her growing love for this industry. From bridal styling to extensions to soft color or bold, bright tones, she continues to research, learn and play through the art of hair.
