Alexey Kats is the C0-owner and creative director at Architeqt Salon and Gallery, located in Washington Square west in Philadelphia.Alexey has worked as a platform educator for companies such as Goldwell, Sahag and his own venture Fountainhead Beauty. While working on many of the city’s fashion shows he has also worked on feature films and produced and contributed to photoshoots for TV personalities, magazines, boutiques and universities. Alexey designed his own line of cutting and styling tools and educates both hairdressers and clients on hair cutting and styling. In addition to doing custom color and keratin treatments, Alexey has been perfecting his dry-cutting technique for years and considers haircutting a form of sculpture.
Though generally within the Philadelphia area managing Architeqt, Alexey can also be found at the Cristiano Cora studio in New York, bi-monthly to accommodate his dedicated New York Clients.
Pawel Jan, the co-owner of Architeqt, began his career fourteenyears ago after studying with Patti Barreault,an internationally accomplished and recognized professional while also completing a two-year apprenticeship under her supervision and direction at Palazzolo Salon, the preeminent salon in Royal Oak, Michigan, just outside of Detroit. He then continued his education with the likes of Vidal Sassoon, J Beverly Hills Academy,and Kemon Academy. His unique and expert talent led him to become the Education Directorin 2004 at Palazzolo Salon affording Pawel the opportunity to mentor and share his skills by developing various educational programs for fellow stylists and apprentices. He teachesa variety of classes ranging from cutting, dry cutting, color, and theory.Pawel Jan has also studied directly under the supervision of the late John Sahag and subsequently became a member of his artistic team. He has also worked on artistic teams with J Beverly Hills and Kemon. Pawel has worked with many prestigious clients including, Carmen Marc Valvo, Nicole Miller, Derek Lam, Christian Louboutin, and Neiman Marcus. He continues his extensive education, keeping him in the forefront of the industry.

Since graduating from a top Philadelphia cosmetology school, jean Madeline, Brittiany Cunningham has worked in premier salons such as Haig and company and the Studio CL, before finding her home at Architeqt Salon and Gallery.
Whether it’s a daring color change, drastic cut or elegant evening look, Brittiany works with her clients to achieve their most complimentary look and style. With a passion for editorial and bridal work, “B” excels at creating personalized and artistic designs for photo-shoots and fashion events. Brittiany also specializes in adding length and volume to various hair textures as Architeqt salon’s extension guru.
As a Philadelphia native Jennifer Luszczak has trained with some of New York and Philadelphia’s top stylists. With a strong passion for the industry and sharing her knowledge, Jennifer became a color educator for L’Oreal Professional. During her training, she has mastered the art of Balayage Highlighting and adopted a dry haircutting method. As licensed make-up artist and bridal expert, Jennifer’s work has been featured on local networks as well as fashion shows. She has also been awarded “Best of Philly- Best Blowout” by Philadelphia Magazine.
